The Experience
The Agafay desert day trip is our most complete way to experience this rocky landscape just outside Marrakech. Unlike the sand deserts of southern Morocco, Agafay is defined by its stony plateaus, ochre hillsides and dry valleys — a terrain that genuinely rewards quad biking. The tracks vary from wide-open stretches where you can open the throttle to narrower paths that weave between rocky outcrops, all with the Atlas Mountains visible in the distance on clear days.
After the quad ride, the camel segment brings a completely different relationship with the same landscape. The slower pace, the height of the saddle and the rhythm of the animal give you a contemplative view of Agafay that the quad simply cannot.
